
Dr. Ador R. Torneo is a Full Professor in the Department of Political Science and the Director of the Jesse M. Robredo Institute of Governance (JRIG) of De La Salle University-Manila. He is a development and governance practitioner with extensive experience in capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, and public policy research in the Philippines, the ASEAN region, and South Korea. He is the convener of the De La Salle University JRIG – Covid-19 Community Research, Response, and Solutions Volunteers. The group is a multi-disciplinary group of professionals that collect, compile, and share relevant information, analysis, and solutions for immediate, medium-term, and long-term COVID-19 related issues and challenges faced by local governments and communities based on research, best practices, and innovations.
